Terms of Service
These are the terms for hiring Missouri Junkers — Cole and Isy, working out of Moberly, MO — for junk removal, cleanouts, light demolition, yard and storm cleanup, and the cleaning we do after a haul. Plain language, because that's how we work.
1. Free on-site estimates
Every job starts with a look. We come to the property, see what's there and how hard it is to reach, and give you one number. There's no charge for the estimate and no obligation to book.
The price we give on site is the price you pay. We don't add fees after the fact. The only time a number changes is if the scope of the job changes — you add a shed to the garage cleanout, say — and in that case we tell you the new number before we touch anything, and you decide.
2. Scheduling and cancellations
Once you accept the estimate we set a day and a time window. We show up when we said we would; our reviews are the proof.
If your plans change, call or text as early as you can — 24 hours' notice is appreciated. Reschedules are handled by phone at (573) 645-6627, and we'll work with you to find a time that fits.
3. Property access and preparation
You don't have to be there. Plenty of our customers aren't — they're at work, or they own the property from another state. What we need is either someone 18 or older on site, or clear written access instructions: where to go, how to get in, and what's coming out.
Make sure the items to be removed are clearly identified. If something in the pile is staying, tell us before we start. We'll take photos when the job is done so you can see it without a drive.
4. Items we generally can't accept
We haul furniture, appliances, mattresses, household junk, brush, storm debris, scrap, and whatever a cleanout turns up. Like most junk removal crews, there are things we generally can't take:
- Hazardous waste, chemicals, and solvents
- Paint, stains, and thinners
- Fuel, oil, and propane tanks
- Asbestos or material suspected of containing it
- Medical waste and biohazards
If you're not sure whether something on your list is a problem, ask when we come to look. We'll tell you straight and point you to the right place for it.
5. Payment
Payment is due when the job is complete. The amount is the number we quoted on site — no surprises at the end.
6. Care, damage, and insurance
We're licensed and insured, and we treat your property like it's ours. Customers describe us as careful, respectful, and professional, and we intend to keep it that way.
If something does get damaged while we're working, tell us the same day — a call or a text with a photo is enough — and we'll make it right. We aren't responsible for damage that existed before we arrived or for problems that weren't pointed out before the job started.
7. Disposal and donation
Once it's on the trailer it's ours to deal with. Depending on what it is, it goes to a landfill, a recycler, or a donation outlet, at our discretion. If you have a preference about where something ends up, mention it before we load it.
8. Weather and 24-hour service
We're listed open 24 hours because storm calls don't keep business hours, and we mean it — call when it happens. That said, mid-Missouri weather can make a job unsafe or impossible on the scheduled day. If we have to push a job because of weather, we'll call you and set a new time as soon as it's safe to work.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Missouri.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the effective date at the top.
